Both my boys were fighting over my 4 year-old seascooter so, before we went to Hawaii this year I bought my 5 year-old a new one! They both absolutely love using them for 6 days in the ocean Lagoon by the hotel! They enjoyed going snorkeling with them which allowed them to see the different reef fish, turtles and eels. My boys enjoy using them in my salt pool and have no problem going underwater with them. I bought 2 extra batteries and that last the boys most of the day! I bought a big cooler for the four batteries is the airlines and TSA won't allow the batteries in the cabin they have to be checked his ground bags! You have to take the sea scooters out of their case to put them in the overhead bin of the cabin on a Boeing 757 300 will not fit with them in the bag! American made me tape the battery connect before checking them.
My husband and I scuba dive and we just purchased the Supercharged VS Sea-Doo. We are very happy with them. They preform as advertised and for recreational use diving they are a great size at just 18 lbs. We found the battery life to be as advertised and the speed was on the money. We have noit had to test Seascooter express for any reason yet but they got our order out in a timely fashipn and everything delivered in good shape. We will definitly keep them in our favs file for online shoping.
This Sea Doo is an ok performer and a decent budget scooter. Pros: simple to operate underwater(pull one trigger low speed pull both high speed), spare batteries are cheap. Cons: battery is a pain to switch out and if you don't do it properly you'll flood it. No battery indicator
